Lana Mikheeva is a Russian Olympic-trained professional athlete turned nutritionist and fitness coach. Her athletic career, spanning 18 years in Rhythmic Gymnastics, immersed her in a unique world-class performance, health and fitness program, administered by Russia’s top nutritionists, trainers, psychologists, and doctors.

Today, Lana is on a personal mission to follow her passion in bringing her life-long expertise and knowledge to others. Through personal coaching and education, Lana’s program is tailored to individuals who identify with personal health as being a top priority to a happy and fulfilled life.

Her program, “Not Another F*cking Diet”, mocks the blizzard of gimmicks that she observes so prevalent in western societies, and refocuses the attention on more practical and tested methods that look at a healthy lifestyle – and life – more holistically.

Lana creates a long-term food and fitness program specific to an individual’s health needs, lifestyle, and goals. Whether you’re a busy mom on-the-run, or a business executive, or both, Lana will develop a nutrition-based food plan and exercise routine that accommodates your life, and the demands that go along with it. Lana’s hands-on program evolves to fit an individual’s own evolution.

What sets Lana apart from other nutritionists and trainers is that – through her professional Olympic training program – she has integrated not only the physical tools required, but also Lana provides people the mental and emotional tools to develop and change their habits and related health philosophy, to ultimately improve the quality and longevity of their lives. Lana strives to reconnect people to a positive relationship with food, fitness, and ultimately themselves.

The food plan

Lana creates a custom food plan tailored to health and fitness goals. She educates a person all along the way about what is good fuel and what’s not working for them. By monitoring food and nutrition intake, she collects, analyzes, and adjusts.

Her food program is not about restricting or taking away, but providing healthy alternatives and options. Her belief is that 90% of your health starts with your nutrition. It begins with stabilizing weight making sure it remains at a healthy level or on a downward trajectory.

Exercise and Fitness

Lana’s philosophy is that one size does not fit all. Her program adapts and evolves to every individual. She starts with finding what they enjoy doing, making it fun, mostly outdoor related, and accommodating to any lifestyle. Whether you’re on-the-go, in the hotel, or at the office, there’s something that works for everyone.

Lana’s program focuses on cardiovascular activity, meaning bringing the heart rate up for at least 30 minutes a day; whether that be from running, jogging, swimming, and even sex. As well as resistance training, from using weights in the backyard or your own body weight.

Lana’s unique approach to health and fitness starts mentally. She strives to re-wire the relationship each individual has with food, fitness, and create a process focused on healthy habits for life.
